Posted By : Gary Simon Date Created : August 19th, 2013 Date Updated : May 29th, 2018

Bounce HouseTons of people say that they want to do something on a regular basis, but not many people do. How often have you heard people say that they are going to start a diet on New Year’s Day, or that they are going to start a business but never do. It’s easy to make promises to yourself, and to others, that you are going to change things in your life. Actually changing these things, however, is a completely different story. If you are interested in purchasing wholesale moonwalk’s to start your own rental business, but you are too scared to actually take the leap, we have a few things that you should think about.

For starters we want to know why you want to start your own inflatable jumper business. Are you sick of the place you’re working now? Have you always have a lot of kids? It doesn’t matter what your reasoning is for wanting to start a business as long as it is a good reason. Simply want to start your own small business because you think it would be fine is almost guaranteed to give you nothing but headaches. Wanting to start a small business, like renting moonwalks, because you want to earn more money for your family, or because you want to become your own boss, are great reasons as they will keep you interested in your business and fighting to make sure that it thrives.

Do you truly have what it takes to own a small business? There is nothing in the world quite like owning a small business. On one hand you have the freedom and the privilege of the able to do anything you want and being able to make all the decisions. On the other hand, all of the decisions are your responsibility to make and anything that you do can affect your business. This can be a great deal of stress so if you are not someone who handles stress well you may want to think twice before opening a bounce house rental business. Also, it is not necessarily a good idea to purchase wholesale moonwalks in order to start a bounce house rental business if you thoroughly hate children. Your biggest clientele in this industry is going to be children and well you don’t have to be a lover of all children, be able to tolerate and have fun with them is definitely a bonus in this business.

Making Email Marketing Work

Posted By : Gary Simon Date Created : July 3rd, 2013 Date Updated : May 29th, 2018

Bounce HouseIt used to be the direct marketing was the way to go when it came to advertising your business. Direct marketing was all about creating flyers that are then sent out to a massive amount of people at one time. Now, however, direct marketing is out and email marketing is in. One of the best ways to make sure that your inflatable moonwalks are rented on a regular basis is to learn how to make email marketing work for you. Here are a few tips that will help to make your email marketing much more productive.

Options to Try

There are a large number of different options that you can try when it comes to getting a result from your email marketing campaigns. For starters it is a good idea to make sure that you send out an email newsletter on a regular basis. Once a week would likely be too frequently for a bounce house rental business, but sending out an email newsletter once a month likely will not be. Make sure you include important information in these newsletters such as the new units your purchased, safety tips, ideas on where to find locations to set up bounce houses, and so on. Filling your email newsletters full of fluff is likely not going to net you any new business, but putting useful information in the email likely will.

It is also a good idea to try to keep record of the birthdays of your clients. If, for instance, you were to rent out one of your inflatable moonwalks to Johnny’s parents for his birthday you can then marked down the birthday in your calendar and can send Johnny’s parents an email offering them a significant discount to rent one of your units while, at the same time, remarking that you want to help make Johnny’s birthday great.

By utilizing email marketing correctly you will find that your business gets tons of attention and that your website gets more hits than you ever thought it would. Just make sure you do not use email marketing to present filler pieces to your clientele but that you use it to offer great deals and exciting information to everyone on your list.

Handling Negative Press when Someone Gets Hurt

Posted By : Gary Simon Date Created : May 30th, 2013 Date Updated : May 30th, 2018

Regular Fun HouseAs a bounce house rental business owner you likely know that it is inevitable that someone, adult or child, is going to get injured on one of your units. Bounce houses are fairly safe, especially if you follow all of the rules, but unfortunately far too often people neglect to put the rules into place. This makes it much easier for children to get injured when using your equipment. When someone gets injured using your equipment is likely that the parent of that child is going to blast the information all over social media websites. How, then, do you handle this negative press?

Apologetic

You know that the moonwalks for sale you purchased are extremely safe, but once you get one negative review about your business that states that a child got injured using one of your units you will find that you have to deal with the reality of children getting injured in bounce houses. The first thing you need to be is apologetic. Inside your head you may be thinking that the child would likely not have been injured if the people in charge were followed all of the instructions you gave them. That is likely true, but having an attitude like that is not going to smooth the situation over. Instead, make sure you are apologetic. Apologize that a child got injured while trying to have a fun time, and apologize that the family had to deal with a frustrating situation.

Moving Ahead

Once you have apologize to the family it is time to make a statement using social media. In a very polite way explained that sounds houses can be extremely safe to use, just as safe as trampolines and pools, as long as all of the safety rules are followed. Put a link up on your social media sites that gives the safety instructions for the moonwalks for sale that you happen to own and rent out. Explain that you are more than happy, for a small fee, to stay and monitor the unit and the children as you realize that parents can be very busy. It is important to make sure that your current customers, and your potential customers, realize that you take both safety, and injuries, extremely seriously. If you ignore the situation you will find that the negative press about your company only grows.

Selling Your Commercial Moonwalks

Posted By : Gary Simon Date Created : May 12th, 2013 Date Updated : May 30th, 2018

Candy MoonwalkThere are times when you’re ready to purchase a brand new moonwalk to help your business, but, at the same time, there are situations in which it’s time for you to sell some of your older moonwalks. Buying moonwalks is extremely easy, but many business owners don’t realize that selling their moonwalks can be much more difficult. Why don’t people automatically jump to purchase one when they see a commercial moonwalk for sale?

Why They Don’t Bite

Most bounce house business owners would jump to purchase a bounce house that they see for sale, especially when it’s a good sale. Why, then, do most people tend to avoid purchasing a commercial moonwalk for sale from you? One of the biggest reasons is because they aren’t sure if they are going to be able to trust the unit that they purchase from you. Many people see “used” and believe that it is equivalent to “junk”. It’s important, if you want to sell your unit, to make sure that the interested parties know that the unit is coming from a professional business. When people know that the unit is coming from a professional they are much more likely to believe that the unit is in a better condition, which it likely will be.

Another reason why people are tempted to not purchase a used unit is simply because they are not sure what they are going to do with it! The good news is that you can easily demonstrate to people how easy it is to have fun with the unit that you are selling. Before you put the unit up for sale all you need to do is take a video of the unit! But how can you sell the unit with a video?

In today’s world almost everything is digital which is definitely a plus when it comes to selling an inflatable unit. The fact that you have the ability to sell something digitally allows you to show your prospective buyers exactly how amazing the unit is. Give them ideas of how they can use the unit – how they can invite friends and family over to jump around on the bounce house. It is very easy to sell your old commercial units, as long as you help people to realize exactly how much fun, and how safe, these units can truly be.

Should You Add Other Inflatables to Your Business

Posted By : Gary Simon Date Created : May 6th, 2013 Date Updated : May 30th, 2018

Princess V Roof CastleThe good news is that it’s easy to expand your business no matter how long your business has been in operation. The bad news is that many people have a very difficult time figuring out when they should expand their business. For instance, did you know that it is absolutely possible to not only purchase bounce houses for your business, but that it is also possible to purchase inflatable units that are not bounce house units?

If you own a bounce house rental business than you know how to purchase moonwalks, but what you may not realize is that your moonwalk business can be expanded by purchasing inflatable units that have nothing to do with bouncing! The good news for business owners is that technology has changed a huge amount in the past few years making it easier now than ever before for a business owner to add serious variety to their bounce house business. But how can a different type of unit help your business?

Reeling In Adults

Most adults have a difficult time shedding their dignity enough to have fun jumping on bounce house units, but those same adults often have absolutely no problem sliding down an inflatable slide or using an inflatable sumo suit! Yes, you can purchase a sumo wrestling suit that you can rent out that will truly help you to expand your business. But when should you add these other inflatables to your business?

It’s generally easy to know when to purchase moonwalks, simply purchase new units when the old ones start to break down or when you find that you have more business than you do units. But you may have to be a bit more savvy when it comes to purchasing other types of inflatable units. It’s a good idea to purchase these other units once you know that you have your current business well in hand. For example, if you’re constantly struggling trying to find people to set up your units, or if you have absolutely no organization, purchasing new units may be a bad idea. It is a good idea, however, if you have found that you have your business under serious control and if you’re ready to expand. Remember: bounce house units do not have to be the core of your business – you can truly expand things if you look to other inflatable units to help you!
