Bounce HouseIt is inevitable that at some point in time you are going to become frustrated with one of your clients. Not every client is perfect – in fact, many of them are self-entitled people who do not think, or care, about your side of the story. Some people have a natural ability to help calm clientele down. There are even those who seem to be born with a silver tongue into can switch any situation into one that benefits them. There are also those, however, who have a very difficult time keeping their cool with unruly clientele. Here are a few tips that can help you to remain calm when you’re dealing with someone who frustrates you.

First it is important to remember that they are the people paying your paycheck and not just renting a bounce house . When you work for other people you know that no matter how frustrated you are at your boss there is only so much you can say without getting into serious trouble. Your boss is the person who pays your paycheck, and your clients are the people who pay your paycheck as well. Think of your client as your boss and you may be able to calm down just that much quicker.

If you have an issue with the inflatable bounce house manufacturer that you purchased your unit from you may find it difficult to remain calm. While it is okay to get a little upset at an inflatable bounce house manufacturer, because you are the one paying them, it is not okay to get really upset at your clientele unless there is a very good reason. Try to put yourself in their shoes. It is likely that they are going through a situation where they are frustrated, tired, and potentially even financially despondent. When you have those types of days aren’t you a bit upset too? Remember that your clientele is not just your paycheck but they are also real people who are likely taking all of their frustrations that they have built up over the past few days out on you. Listen to them – most people who are complaining simply want someone who is willing to listen to them. Once you listen to them, apologize for any mistakes you have made an always remain calm when explaining the situation that your client is in and how you can help.

The Annual Clean Out

Inflatable SlideEvery bounce house rental business owner goes through a quiet time when their business is not busy. Instead of looking at this as a detrimental time, it is a good idea to look at this time as the perfect opportunity to structure your business plan for the upcoming year. We call this the annual clean out. Before you even think about looking at that new inflatable waterslide for sale of your preferred bounce house manufacturer, you first need to go through all of the product you currently have and come up with a new business plan for the upcoming year.

Phase 1: Inspection

It is extremely important that you first inspect all of your existing equipment. In order to do this you will need to have a large, flat area where you are able to inflate all of your units individually so you can check them out thoroughly. Expect this phase to take roughly one full day, more than one day if you own a large number of units. Inflate all of the units that you own, one at a time, and check to make sure there are no rips, tears, or seriously rubbed areas that need to be patched. Use this time to check all of the hoses and the blower’s as well to make sure they are all imperfect running order. It is also a good idea to thoroughly clean all of your units at the same time. Once you have inspected all of your current units you can then decide which units you are going to keep, which ones you’re going to sell, and which new units you are going to purchase. If, for instance, you want to buy an inflatable waterslide for sale that you have seen it is a good idea to make sure that you have enough room for the unit by selling older pieces that do not read well.

Phase 2: Business

Want your garden all of the physical inspection over with it is time to work on the business aspect of your bounce house rental business. Make sure you get a new quote on your insurance and that you check out your pricing strategy and your marketing plan to see what worked last year, what didn’t work, and to make notes about all of the things you want to implement this year. By doing this procedure once a year you will find that your business only improves.

Making a Video Commercial

The good news is that not only is it often very affordable to be able to advertise on the television now, especially if you advertise on local television channels, it is also very easy to create your own commercial. So how do you go about creating a commercial without spending tons of money?

The Basics

First you’ll need to know the basics – such as which stations you’re going to be advertising on and how much it is going to cost to create an ad. Ads run anywhere from 15 seconds to one minute, but it is likely that you’re going to want to start with a 15 or 30 second ad. You will need to find someone who is able to create a video for you. One affordable option is to look to college students who are studying video editing. You can pay them a small amount of money and it will give the student work experience while, at the same time, ensuring that you get a fairly decent commercial.

You also need to get the best units you purchased from the bounce house manufacturer’s that you have. You will want to showcase more than one unit, and if possible you will want to showcase a variety of units, including inflatable slides if you have them. You also need a large, flat area in which to set up in. If you have children, or if you have friends and family members who have children, ask them if they would like to be in a commercial. Make sure that parents sign model release contracts so that you are legally allowed to put the commercial online, and on the air, without being sued. Once you have everything setup it is time to sit back, relax, and watch as your commercial is filmed, edited, and then aired. Make sure you also air the commercial on your website, and through all your social media sites as well.
