Adventure Interactive Course IIDo a bit of searching online and you’ll quickly find that there have been a handful of stories about people who have gotten hurt when their bounce house flew away. The stories can be hard to read, especially as a number of children have been injured by the bounce houses lifting off of the ground and tumbling around on the ground. But just because this has happened doesn’t mean that you should avoid going to an inflatable manufacturer website so that you can start your own inflatables business.

Talking With Clients

The idea that a child could be harmed by renting from a bounce house rental company is something that a lot of parents worry about, and is one reason why so many do not rent them even though their children really want them to. If you have someone contact you asking why you would rent something out that could be dangerous you need to speak with them and to assure them that the only reason why the accidents occurred was due to improper use.

How were they improperly used? You can even see that there are stories where there was an operator present and where the bounce houses were secured properly, so what happened? In reality those houses that were involved in accidents should never have been put up those days. Read the stories and you’ll see that there was a great deal of wind going on during those days, and any experienced bounce house operator knows that you should never host a party if the wind is too high.
Staying Safe

You will receive instructions from the inflatable manufacturer that will help you to keep safe, but there are certain common sense rules that you should use as well, including making sure that you do not run a bounce house on a very windy day. Always use your own judgment and make sure that you are doing everything you can to keep the children safe. If your house was rented for a day and the weather has turned inclement, make sure you offer to redo the setup for the parents or to refund their deposit, and explain to them that you are making the safety of the children the most important thing. This should calm them and they should be impressed that you care more about the safety of the children than about earning cash.
